TV STAR NOT CELEBRATING JFK JR.’S WEDDING

Xuxa, the queen of Brazilian children’s TV, was a little wistful Tuesday as she talked about the onetime man of her dreams – recent newlywed John F. Kennedy Jr.

The blond kiddie-show host, one of the luminaries in town for Walt Disney World’s 25th anniversary celebration, says her dream date with JFK Jr. blew up in her face several years ago when tabloid reporters showed up. It seems Jr. thought she had invited them.

“It was too bad,” said Xuxa (pronounced SHU-sha). “He is very handsome. He is a really good guy. I tried to talk to him after that to tell him I didn’t do it, but I couldn’t. He wouldn’t talk to me.”

Xuxa, 33, says she’s not romantically involved now. Her love of kids has her focused on having a baby rather than a boyfriend.

“I would like to fall in love and marry and do everything the normal way, but if I can’t find the right person, I’ll have to do it another way,” the star said. “It may not be so good for my career, but I want to have a baby by the time I’m 34 or 35.

“My mama says she just wants me to be happy and that she would even go to the bank with me,” she said, laughing. – Source
