On February 27, Leah McSweeney, a former star of “The Real Housewives of New York City” filed a complaint against Andy Cohen, Bravo, and NBCUniversal.

She alleges that Cohen fostered a toxic workplace that promoted alcohol consumption and failed to provide a safe environment for her amid her struggles with alcohol and mental health disorders. The complaint states that she relapsed during filming but was sober when she began season 12.

She accuses producers of orchestrating situations to exploit her disabilities for dramatic television.

Additionally, she claims Cohen engaged in cocaine use with cast members and employees, creating a culture that encourages substance abuse and discriminates against those trying to remain sober.

“Mr. Cohen never used cocaine with any cast member on any Real Housewives show or with any other Bravo employee” a new letter from Cohen’s lawyer states

In the letter, Cohen’s lawyer states that “virtually every” allegation made by McSweeney is “categorically false,” and it specifically demands that her accusation that Cohen uses cocaine is “immediately” retracted and withdrawn.
