Tarek and Christina’s Latest Flip Is Missing Something ‘Huge’: Can You Guess?

House flippers (and former high-flying couple) Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead take on all kinds of big projects—but the abode in the latest episode of “Flip or Flop” is lacking something major that could turn this ambitious venture into a belly-flop all too fast.

In the episode, appropriately titled “Alarming Flip,” El Moussa and Anstead have bought a fixer-upper in Cypress, CA. They’re excited about the neighborhood, because they recently made a good profit on another house just a block away.

“We made over 60 grand,” El Moussa remembers, “so we did really well on it. The area’s strong.”

With high expectations, El Moussa and Anstead hope that this home will bring them the same high profit margins. Unfortunately, they soon realize they probably won’t be so lucky this time.

The house is small, just 1,000 feet, and will need a lot of work. But during renovation, they run into even more problems than they’d envisioned, including a foundation leak and a broken water heater, which send their reno expenses soaring.- Source
