This former Disney actress/singer is not using her name right now, but she is the one going after her molester when he sexually abused her during her very early teen years.

His abuse lasted for two years.

I’m not sure why she is not using her name in legal proceedings considering she has mentioned it publicly before.

‘Voice’ alum Jordan Pruitt: ‘Greatest joy’ will come when abuser is in ‘orange jumpsuit’

Singer Jordan Pruitt is revealing more details about the sexual abuse she revealed in a Facebook post in December.

In the post, Pruitt, a competitor on Season 3 of “The Voice” in 2012, said she was molested as a teen and wrote of the “insurmountable, undeniable, irrefutable amount of pain” she suffered.

“As I filmed my music video, ‘Jump to the Rhythm’ (used for the 2007 Disney Channel TV movie “Jump In!”), those eyes were watching my every move,” she shared in December. “As I watch this video back now, I see this young girl laughing and smiling, but inside I was feeling trapped.”

In a recent interview with Fox News, Pruitt, now 28, spoke about how her abuser began grooming her when she was around 13.

“This all started when I was about 13 and the advances really kind of started around 14, but nothing was ever sexual until I was about 15,” she said to the outlet. “I can remember him saying, you know; ‘Let me teach you how to kiss. You don’t want to get out into the world and be a bad kisser.’ I vividly remember that.”

Pruitt said as a teen she was naive to the man’s advances.

“I mean, at 14 I was like, ‘Oh yeah, you’re right.’ You know, this is a prominent man and he’s basically taking interest in my talent. I just thought, for me, because I was from a town with one stoplight – I really thought that ‘OK, I guess this is normal,’ ” she said. “I was raised from church and raised to believe that everybody has the best of intentions. So I really didn’t realize it like that until I was a good 20 or 21 that through everything that had happened, I had basically been sexually molested for two years of my life.”

Once the abuse had ceased, Pruitt told Fox News she’d “forgotten that it had happened” for five years. But when she reached the age of 21, she began to understand what she’d been through, and according to the interview, “developed an anxiety disorder coupled with denial and anger.” – Source
