Speaking of tools, this former A/A- list mostly television actor is crazy if he thinks his former show/character will get a reboot/spinoff.
He got off easy so far in the #MeToo thing.
There are others who would come out of the shadows if he was on the screen again.
Ari Gold, Entourage
Jeremy Piven Thinks Mark Wahlberg Should Make an Entourage Spinoff About Ari Gold
HBO’s comedy-drama series Entourage, about an up-and-coming young actor and his hanger-on buddies, aired for eight seasons and even spawned a feature film — but for some fans, that simply wasn’t enough. Jeremy Piven, who played obnoxious Hollywood agent Ari Gold on and off from 2004 to 2015, feels the same.
After a fan reached out to Piven on Twitter to state their “need” for a new spinoff series based on his character, Piven responded by directly tweeting at HBO and actor Mark Wahlberg, saying he wanted to “give the people what they want.”
Wahlberg served as an executive producer on all eight seasons of Entourage (and the movie), and the entire premise was based on him and the dynamic he shared with his friends in real life. The narrative of the show provided a highly fictionalized, lighter-hearted version of true events experienced by Wahlberg and his buddies in the early days of his career. – Source
