Fairly sure hell froze over, because these two A++ list legends who once performed together in an A++ list group were hanging out and laughing even more than they did before they had their falling out which lasted decades.

Diana Ross

Mary Wilson

Diana Ross plays nice with Mary Wilson at Oscars party

Diana Ross had a fright at Elton John’s Oscars party when she bumped into Mary Wilson, her archenemy since the days when they were two-thirds of the Supremes.

Ross, with her son Evan, came over to say hello to Quincy Jones, seemingly without realizing that Wilson — who first wrote about their feud in “Dreamgirl: My Life as a Supreme” in 1986 — was sitting next to him.

Seeing Wilson, “Diana looked like a deer caught in the headlights,” said Mark Bego, Wilson’s ghostwriter, who was sitting at the same table with Lorna Luft. “Mary had a smile on her face.”

“Lorna said, ‘OK kids, get to the bunker. This is going to be explosive,’ ” Bego told me.

But no drinks were thrown.

Wilson graciously said, “Hi, Diana,” hugged her nemesis, and the awkward confrontation was over.

Ross’ spokesman Mark Young told me, “She 100 percent knew Ms. Wilson was at the table, that is why she went over. It was a really nice moment.”

Wilson blames the ambitious Ross for destroying the Supremes by forcing out Florence Ballard, and then leaving the group to go solo. Ballard struggled with alcohol, depression and poverty before dying of a heart attack in 1976. – Source
