In a recorded call, Combs encouraged Ye to return to performing and thanked him for checking in on his kids, noting no one else had.
Kanye expressed love and support, calling Combs a father figure and continuing to advocate for his release.
He recently dropped a new track, “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” featuring Combs and his daughter North West — a move that reportedly upset Kim Kardashian, who wants to shield their children from Kanye’s controversies.
