Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

Those messages were never meant to be seen… now they’re part of the case

Just as his privacy case heats up, Prince Harry is dealing with something resurfacing that is shifting the conversation completely.

Flirty messages.

Texts he exchanged years ago with journalist Charlotte Griffiths (Mail on Sunday journalist) have now been revealed in court, and they paint a very different picture than what has been claimed.

In the messages, he calls her “sugar”, signs off with “mwah” and multiple kisses, and refers to missing their “movie snuggles.” At one point, there is even a playful reference to a “weekend of naughtiness.”

These messages, sent in late 2011 and early 2012.

Harry sent the first message in 2011, telling Griffiths: “It’s H,incase u were confused by name and picture!!! X.”

Griffiths replied, “Hello Mr Mischief… Did you get home OK slash did you actually find your car and did you beat Arthur down the motorway more importantly?!”

“Dou ever work?!!…. Hope you’re really well Griff… Miss our movie snuggles!! I’m off comms all week incase u think I’m being rude, keep me posted xxx xxx xxx.”

These are not formal or distant exchanges.

They read as warm, familiar, and very personal.

And that is exactly why they matter.

Because throughout the case, Harry has maintained that he did not have close relationships with journalists and that any personal information published about him must have been obtained through unlawful means. He has also suggested he distanced himself once he knew she was a reporter.

But these messages are now being used to challenge that version.

They suggest there may have been direct, friendly contact, at least at one point, which complicates the narrative he has presented.

And the timing could not be worse.

What was supposed to be a case focused on alleged misconduct by the press is now being pulled in another direction, with attention shifting to his own interactions.

Because once those messages are out, they don’t just stay in the background.

They change how everything is being viewed.
