Lily Allen ‘ready for coronavirus lockdown’ as Sheezus made people ‘not talk to her’
Lily Allen has told fans she feels likes she is prepared for the next few months of social distancing due to coronavirus thanks to people ‘not talking to her’ following the release of her controversial album Sheezus.
Sheezus, Lily’s third album, was met with mixed response from fans and critics despite peaking at number one in the UK.
The album saw Lily drastically change direction with her sound and focus on an electropop and R&B.
The lead single Hard Out Here saw Lily mock male driven culture and featured lyrics: “Don’t you want to have somebody who objectifies you?/ Have you thought about your butt? Who’s gonna tear it in two?”
Lily said: “I am in London as are the children.
“My mum has just left London she’s gone to the countryside.
“I guess we are going to start doing the social distancing which I have really perfected over the years.
