Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

The most dear guest

We all know the celebrity CEO has been trying to drum up demand for his new and controversial product, by giving it away to celebrities with massive social media accounts.

The CEO very recently used an intermediary to evade sanctions, in order to place the product in the hands of this brutal foreign dictator with a celebrity-sized following on social media.

Ramzan Kadyrov – Chechen President

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his admiration for a machine-gun-equipped Tesla Cybertruck, claiming in a Telegram post that Elon Musk sent it to him.

Kadyrov invited Musk to visit Chechnya as a “most dear guest” in gratitude and stated that the trucks would be used by Russian soldiers in the war against Ukraine.

A video showed Kadyrov driving the Cybertruck and showcasing its weaponry.

It’s unclear if Musk or Tesla actually sent the truck, and Tesla has not commented on the matter. Musk has previously shown support for Ukraine while also advocating for a settlement with Russia. Kadyrov, who has been sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury for serious human rights abuses, is prohibited from receiving goods or services from U.S. citizens, and violations of these sanctions can lead to severe penalties.
