Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

That insane number of hours

MET GALA

Speaking of the how many hours did it take to make your dress, this former A+ list actress knows how the game is played and always makes sure to be a winner by throwing out some insane number of hours that isn’t true, but knows will be more hours by a factor of ten than anyone else’s number.

Demi Moore

At the Met Gala 2024, Demi Moore stunned in a sculptural gown by British-American designer Harris Reed, spending 11,000 hours of silk embroidery repurposed from vintage archival wallpaper.

Inspired by a Cartier necklace, the dress featured floral imagery and black spikes.

Moore, along with stylist Brad Goreski, embraced the risk-taking design, praising fashion’s celebration of creativity.

Her makeup, by Kristofer Buckle, complemented the look.

Moore’s upcoming film, “The Substance,” explores themes of aging, aligning with the Gala’s dress code, “The Garden of Time.”
