Sam Asghari, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, has opened up more about their brief marriage in a new interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
Despite not talking much about their relationship, Sam explained that he chose not to read Britney’s memoir The Woman in Me because he “was there.”
Reflecting on their split, he emphasized celebrating the past and not dwelling on sadness. While he didn’t confirm whether he signed an NDA, Sam said one wasn’t necessary due to his values of privacy.
He also touched on the negative influence of people in Britney’s life during her conservatorship.
“There were so many bad people in their life that took advantage of this person,” he said.
