Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

She was wrong.

The alliterate one is going to be out of pocket well over $1.5M after all is said and done for a $1 win.

She doesn’t have that kind of money, but her husband does.

She told him for sure, the other side would have to pay.

Meghan Markle Awarded $625,000 in Legal Costs Over Privacy Case Against U.K. Tabloid

Meghan Markle has been awarded $625,000 in legal costs over her privacy and copyright infringement case against Associated Newspapers.

A British judge ruled Tuesday that the publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday should make the “interim payment” to the Duchess of Sussex, 39, as part of a wider judgment ordering the newspaper group to pay 90% of Meghan’s estimated $1.88 million legal expenses.

The ruling follows Meghan’s successful claim against Associated Newspapers for reproducing parts of a handwritten letter she sent her father, Thomas Markle, in February 2019. Last month Judge Mark Warby ruled that publishing the letter, which was written after Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018, was “manifestly excessive and hence unlawful.” – Source
