Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

Nicki Minaj loses another lawyer amid $10 million lawsuit

Nicki Minaj is facing more legal trouble after losing yet another attorney in an ongoing $10 million defamation lawsuit filed by a former fan. The case was brought by Tameer Peak, who claims the rapper falsely accused him of criminal behavior and stalking.

Minaj’s current lawyer, Matthew Abbott, has asked the court for permission to withdraw from the case, citing a breakdown in communication. According to court documents, Abbott said he had tried repeatedly to contact Minaj and her financial team through texts and emails but had not heard back for months.

This marks the second attorney to step away from the lawsuit. Her previous lawyer, Judd Burstein, also withdrew from the case last year, though he stated his decision was unrelated to the merits of the claims and described the lawsuit as “entirely frivolous.”

The judge has not yet ruled on Abbott’s request to withdraw. In the meantime, Minaj must find new legal representation or respond to the court on her own, leaving her potentially facing the high-stakes lawsuit without a lawyer if the situation is not resolved soon.

So far, Nicki Minaj’s known manager is Wassim Slaiby (SALXCO), not Lou Taylor.
