Chrissy Teigen is clearing up the confusion after surprising fans with a bandaged face during an Instagram Live session. The 39-year-old model revealed she recently underwent a hairline-lowering procedure to address thinning in the front of her scalp, which she attributes to postpartum hair loss.
“Lost a lot in the front from babies,” she shared on Instagram Stories, along with a close-up of her stitched hairline. “It’s just very thin up there. When you see it on a carpet, it’s ALWAYS extensions.” Teigen assured fans she’s okay and promised to share more as she continues healing, calling the recovery “a journey.”
This isn’t the first time Teigen has opened up about cosmetic procedures. Over the years, she’s revealed she had breast implants at 20 (and later removed them), buccal fat removal in her cheeks, and even liposuction on her armpits.
