Less than two weeks after Hulk Hogan’s death at 71 from a reported heart attack, his daughter Brooke Hogan is voicing doubts about how it was handled.
Speaking on Aug. 5, Brooke said she found it “weird” that no autopsy was performed. “Yes, you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack is the question,” she said, later sharing a social media post questioning the “quick cremation without autopsy.”
Brooke also addressed the revelation that her father had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a slow-growing blood cancer, which appeared in medical records. She claims she was unaware of the diagnosis and questioned how it could have gone unnoticed despite Hulk’s many surgeries and regular blood work. “One doctor said his blood was like a 25-year-old’s,” she recalled. “How did nobody catch a high white blood cell count?”
The lack of family history of cancer adds to her skepticism. “It just seems weird,” she said, calling the combination of no autopsy and a sudden leukemia diagnosis “B.S.”
Brooke, who welcomed twins earlier this year with husband Steven Olesky, had been estranged from her father in recent years. She previously explained she had chosen distance from her family to focus on her own healing and values.
Hulk married yoga instructor Sky Daily in 2023, marking his third marriage. The intimate ceremony came after a year-long engagement, but Brooke chose not to attend, explaining at the time that she was focusing on her own healing and surrounding herself with people and situations that aligned with her values. Her absence fueled speculation about ongoing family tensions, though Hulk often publicly praised Sky, calling her a source of happiness and support in his later years.
Following Hulk’s death, Brooke’s friend Ashley Kora shared a tribute on her behalf, describing Hulk as a “doting father to a little girl with big dreams” while acknowledging the complexities in their relationship. Brooke’s husband also thanked friends and supporters during this time.
Hulk Hogan, a WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling icon, was celebrated for his decades-long career in the ring. Despite personal ups and downs, his public legacy remains as one of the most recognizable figures in wrestling history.
