An early morning house fire in Minnesota has left NHL reporter Jessi Pierce and her three children dead.
The fire broke out on March 21 in White Bear Lake, with emergency crews responding just before 5:30 a.m. after neighbors reported flames coming from the home.
By the time firefighters arrived, the house was already engulfed. Crews entered the property and found four victims inside. Jessi Pierce, 37, and her three young children were pronounced dead at the scene. The family dog also died in the fire.
Pierce was a well-known figure in hockey media, covering the NHL and the Minnesota Wild for several years. She contributed to multiple outlets and was widely recognized within the hockey community.
Her husband was not home at the time of the fire.
