Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

Many items don’t have any bids at all.

This former reality star turned makeup artist who is not a nice person thought she would get hundreds of thousands of dollars unloading every piece of furniture and junk from the house that was purchased in the Midwest.

Nope.

An auction that is currently taking place has some really dismal bids for the items.

Kat Von D Hosting Estate Sale Featuring Antiques from Her Historic Indiana Mansion

Celebrity tattoo artist, reality-television star and make-up/shoe brand entrepreneur Kat Von D and her family purchased the historic Vevay, Indiana mansion this past December in order to “plant roots in a small town where there is nature, where (their) son can be free to play and where (they) can eventually retire someday,” Von D wrote in an Instagram story post on Dec. 17.

The home, which previously operated as a bed and breakfast, will be used as the family’s second residence.

Antique items from the over-a-century-old home, and some additional consignor pieces, will be auctioned during an online estate sale next month, from May 5-14.

“There are some wonderful antique and reproduction pieces in Kat’s Living Estate Auction. From marble top tables and beds to everything in between,” said Kendal Miller, co-owner and principal auctioneer for auctioning company Rapid Fire Auction Services, which operates out of Milton, Kentucky. – Source
