A man who was previously arrested outside Billie Eilish’s home in 2020 has died after being struck by a Long Island Rail Road train in New York.
Authorities confirmed that Prenell Rousseau, 30, was killed in the early morning hours in Westbury. According to officials, he was on or near the tracks when the train approached. The incident is being treated as accidental, and no criminality is suspected at this time.
Rousseau first drew attention several years ago after repeatedly appearing at the Los Angeles residence where Billie Eilish was staying with her family. Over the course of two days, he allegedly returned multiple times, rang the doorbell, spoke through security cameras, and refused to leave the property.
Security personnel eventually detained him, and he was arrested on trespassing charges. Court records from that time described his behavior as erratic. A judge later granted a restraining order requiring him to stay away from the singer and her family.
In the recent train incident, officials reported that approximately 100 passengers were on board at the time. Service was temporarily disrupted as authorities responded, and passengers were transferred safely.
