The Justice Department says these intake reports are raw tips from the public and do not prove any criminal involvement. No charges have been brought, and there is no indication of an official investigation into Jay-Z based on these materials.
After screenshots and discussions about the report spread online, social media users reacted strongly, with posts claiming that Beyonce’s Instagram lost about 10 million followers shortly afterward. Jay-Z’s own follower count also reportedly dipped by hundreds of thousands, though neither change has been independently verified. Amid the backlash, social media posts also alleged that Jay-Z left the United States, though that claim has not been confirmed.
