Foxella has been around since 2013, and it means more to me than I can easily put into words. Keeping it running takes time, energy, and real costs, but it also gives me purpose and connection. If Foxella has ever kept you company, sparked curiosity, or simply given you something to read during a quiet moment, and you are in a position to help, I would be deeply grateful for any contribution.

Deadmau5

Deadmau5 is known for occasionally bringing his fans directly into his creative process, and he’s done some really unique things to make that happen. One of the coolest examples was when he hopped on a livestream and let fans watch him work on a track in real time. As he built layers, messed around with beats, and added some trippy effects, he was reading chat comments and even taking suggestions from fans about what sounds to experiment with next.

Fans would throw in ideas like, “Add some distortion here!” or “What if you dropped a melody with more bass?” Some might even ask him to dig into his old sound library or bring back elements from his classic tracks. Sometimes he’d go with it, other times he’d throw in a “Nah, that’s not happening” with a laugh, staying totally himself.

At the end of the session, Deadmau5 would often surprise fans by playing the rough cut of the track, giving them a special, behind-the-scenes listen that they helped shape. This interactive approach has not only deepened his relationship with his fanbase but also made fans feel like they’re part of the creative process.
