What she is hiding:

British rapper Stefflon Don, known for her music and association with Nigerian artist Burna Boy, found herself indirectly involved in a controversy related to her brother, Stephan Allen, also known as Dutchavelli. In November 2020, Dutchavelli faced allegations of grooming a minor on Instagram. The allegations stemmed from leaked screenshots showing his interactions with a 14-year-old girl, where he complimented her looks and invited her to his hotel. Despite her informing him of her age, the communication reportedly continued.

Dutchavelli denied these allegations, claiming his Instagram account was compromised and asserting that the girl had misrepresented her age as 17. He maintained that their interaction was purely because she was a fan of his music and denied any accusations of bribing the girl’s family. The controversy led to a significant backlash against Dutchavelli on social media, with people labeling him a predator and a pedophile. His music was subsequently removed from playlists on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, and fellow artists like Tion Wayne and Stormzy distanced themselves from him.

Stefflon Don, whose real name is Stephanie Allen, has remained silent on her brother’s allegations. Her silence and apparent continued support for him have drawn criticism. She also faced her own controversy in 2024 with the release of a song containing lyrics that were perceived as offensive and insensitive.

Her current feud:

Stefflon Don was involved in a feud with Jamaican artist Jada Kingdom. This feud stemmed from Stefflon Don’s track “Dat A Dat,” which seemed to reference Jada Kingdom and her alleged involvement with Burna Boy, Stefflon Don’s ex. Jada Kingdom responded with her own track “London Bed,” addressing both Stefflon Don’s relationship with Burna Boy and rumors about Stefflon’s cosmetic surgery.

Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, was inadvertently involved in this controversy between his ex, Stefflon, and Jada Kingdom. Despite the drama, Jada Kingdom clarified she had no romantic interest in Burna Boy, highlighting her relationship with Pardison Fontaine. This situation highlights the complex dynamics of fame, relationships, and the music industry.

What happened – 2020- His side of the story:

British rapper Dutchavelli addressed rumors on Instagram TV regarding allegations that he sent inappropriate messages to a 14-year-old girl. He claimed that his Instagram account was hacked and that the messages were altered and edited. Dutchavelli argued that if the allegations were true, he would have been arrested by now.

He mentioned that the police had visited the girl’s home due to her address being posted online, which he referred to as a “duty of care.” Dutchavelli also responded to accusations of paying off the girl’s family, calling those who suggested such a thing “sick.”

The rapper explained that his management team and his record label have access to his Instagram account. He emphasized that his label supports him fully and noted that members of his management team have underage daughters, implying that they would not condone inappropriate behavior.

Dutchavelli also commented on the authenticity of the voice notes that were circulating, challenging the narrative and urging people to stop spreading false lies and fake news. In response to a fan’s question about the voice notes, he suggested that if it wasn’t him messaging the girl, those with access to his account should come forward to explain.

Despite the controversy, Dutchavelli has consistently denied any wrongdoing on his social media accounts. In one post, he warned other rappers not to speak negatively about him, implying there could be consequences.
