Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay recently shared a video on social media revealing significant bruising on his torso, following a cycling accident in Connecticut earlier in the week.
He emphasized the importance of wearing helmets, especially when cycling with children, ahead of Father’s Day.
Ramsay thanked the medical staff at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for their care, noting he sustained bruises but no major injuries.
He urged everyone to prioritize safety while cycling, underscoring that wearing a helmet likely saved his life.
“I want to wish you all a happy Father’s Day, but please, please, please wear a helmet. If I didn’t, honestly, I wouldn’t be here now.”
He added that he did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but was a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato.
