Yung Miami has stepped forward in a powerful way to defend Sean “Diddy” Combs as he faces sentencing. Among the more than 75 letters submitted to the court on Diddy’s behalf, hers stands out for its emotional weight and personal tone. While many of the letters came from his family, friends, and industry colleagues, it was Yung Miami’s voice that gave a raw and deeply personal perspective.

She began her letter by making one thing clear: she would not attempt to excuse or defend anything that may have happened before she entered Diddy’s life. What she did want the court to know, however, is the man she has known,  someone she describes as loving, genuine, supportive, and encouraging. To her, he has been a motivator both personally and professionally, a presence that pushed her to grow as an artist and as a woman.

She recalled moments that meant the world to her, including attending the Met Gala by his side, a night she described as one of the highlights of their relationship. But beyond the glamorous memories, her letter painted Diddy as a man who has done the work on himself, investing in therapy, anger management, and personal healing. She described him as a man of God, someone who uplifts and inspires those around him spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Most importantly, Yung Miami underscored Diddy’s role as a father. She emphasized how much his children need him, how deeply they are affected by his absence, and how critical it is that he be present in their lives. In closing, she made her point plain to the judge: in her eyes, despite everything, Diddy is a good man.
