This once A-list country singer has been unraveling for a while, but stays out of the public eye and the tabloids for the most part. She’s also a really nice person when she’s not having one of her fits, so it’s not like she’s making enemies everywhere she goes acting like a lunatic. She does however, have an ax to grind with a couple of other country stars and that was very apparent before the awards show and at a couple of after parties last night. They say you can’t fight a war on two fronts successfully, and she was basically fighting a war on three fronts completely wasted. The first front…her husband. He’s having a bit of a midlife crisis, and wants to have some fun while he still can. (There’s a blind about this in the archives) He wants an amicable divorce, she dug in her heels. So the whole night she was all over him and tried to make it look like they were devoted and oh so very happy. At one point, he disappeared to talk to some friends, and she hunted him down in a fit of rage and wouldn’t let him out of her sight for the rest of the night. The other front was her bitter feud with this current A+ superstar. She was dumped in a project for her, and resents her to death. She sniped, and made snide remarks about the superstar all night. The drunker she got, the louder she got. At one point she went up to her at an after party and belligerently said something to the effect that her husband will love her until the next young thing comes along, because what goes around, comes around. At this point, the third front of her war started, when this B+ country singer overheard, and went over to the group, grabbed the former A-lister by the arm, and took her to the powder room. The B lister was trying to calm her down, and even asked her husband to go find the former A-lister’s husband to take her back to the hotel. A huge argument ensued, then a tussle, and eventually the former A-lister was a heaving, crying mess on the bathroom floor. The husband had a car brought around, and the B-lister accompanied her back to her hotel for the rest of the night. Both husbands then went on to have a big party night. Swell.
