Fiji Water Girl slammed by Jamie Lee Curtis for ‘blatant promotion’

On Sunday night Hollywood’s elite gathered for the 2019 Golden Globes award ceremony.

Everyone from Julia Roberts to Bradley Cooper attended the star-studded event, but it was a model named Kelleth Cuthbert that really stole the show.

Dubbed the Fiji Water Girl, Kelleth photobombed a number of famous faces on the red carpet, while holding a tray of Fiji water bottles.

And while many people thought the stunt was hilarious, there was one star who wants absolutely nothing to do with it.

Halloween and Freaky Friday actress Jamie Lee Curtis has taken to social media to complain about Fiji Water Girl being in her photo.

In a post on Instagram , she shared a snap of herself being ‘upstaged’ by the woman and wrote: “I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera.

“I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either.

While she doesn’t agree with this ‘blatant promotion’, the actress has previously promoted Dannon’s Activia products in adverts in 2008.

She also starred in a commercial for Equal sweetner in 1996 and an advert for VoiceStream in 2001.- Source
