UFC’s Dana White admits to hitting wife at club

UFC President Dana White was “caught on camera in a physical altercation with his wife on New Year’s Eve” at a nightclub in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. According to eye witnesses, Anna White “slapped her husband, and White slapped her back before they were separated.” White said that the “clash with his wife was alcohol-fueled, and he claimed ‘I don’t remember a lot’ about the lead-up and fallout of the confrontation.” White said he remains in Mexico with his family, adding, “I’m literally making no excuses for this thing at all. It’s never happened before. It’s the first time that it’s ever happened, and people are going to say what they’re going to say. It is what it is. And whatever people do say, it’s deserved. Returning Disney CEO Bob Iger spent months undermining his successor Bob Chapek before retaking the top job at the behest of senior executives, according to a Wall Street Journal report detailing the power struggle between the two men.

Despite stepping down as CEO in 2020 and ostensibly stepping away entirely from Disney at the end of 2021, Iger retained his office at the firm’s Burbank, California headquarters, according to the report. He also held meetings with Chapek’s staff without inviting him, the Journal reported, citing current and former Disney executives and people familiar with the events, infuriating the new CEO. – Source
