Teresa Giudice‘s happy face is just a facade during her family’s difficult time.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star told the crowd at Harrah’s Casino Resort Atlantic City this weekend (via Us Weekly) that she is not in a good place now that her husband Joe‘s bond motion was denied, adding: “It’s a sad time with my husband and everything so we’re going to try and work it out as best we can. The most important thing is our four daughters, so I’m hoping Joe is able to stay in the United States.”

“I had all these businesses and everything went crashing down,” she explained of life after Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges. “But, look, I picked myself right back up, and if anybody else is going through hard times, don’t worry about it.
