Ricky Martin’s Woes Quadruple as Ex-Manager Rebecca Drucker Sues Him for $3M in Unpaid Wages, Claims Singer is an Addict in a ‘Toxic Workplace’

Last month, Ricky Martin’s ex-manager sued the singer for more than $3 million in unpaid commissions. The former manager, Rebecca Drucker, worked with the singer from 2014-2018, but he called her back into service in May 2020 when his “personal and professional life [were] in absolute turmoil.” She claimed in the legal document that she helped the singer in earning millions of dollars and therefore he owes her substantial commissions. She says that she also saved Ricky Martin from a potentially career-ending allegation and now he refuses to pay the millions of dollars in commissions that he owes her under their management agreement.

According to the legal documents, Rebecca Drucker is suing the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer for more than $3 million in unpaid commissions. The lawsuit also states that she helped Ricky Martin through “recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavors,” adding, “With Rebecca at his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions.”

The document also mentions that Rebecca Drucker saved the singer from a potentially career-ending allegation by hiring the top attorneys to handle the matter and thanks to her, Ricky Martin reportedly “emerged unscathed and proceeded with his professional resurgence.”

The 15-page document also mentions that Ricky Martin “fostered a toxic work environment wherein he constantly mistreated, manipulated, and lied to Rebecca, forcing her to resign as his manager in April 2022.” She claimed that Ricky Martin has “threatened her since then and is attempting to force her to sign an agreement with a nondisclosure clause to silence Rebecca about the abhorrent behavior by Martin that she has both witnessed and endured.” – Source
