Supermodel Naomi Campbell Attacked by Thugs on a Paris Street (Report) – Jan 2013

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was attacked and robbed by so called “thugs” on a Paris street a month ago, according to a report in the New York Post. But the news is only now getting out.

“It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone,” a source told the Post. “Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up.”

The story lauded her married Russian billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, for whisking the beauty by private jet to Vail, Colo., where she was treated by orthopedist J. Richard Steadman at his clinic, which has treated sports stars such as Alex Rodriguez.

Campbell, 42, has been seen using a wheelchair and crutches. She reportedly alerted the French police and the Daily Mail reports that their record shows that on November 21, two people on a motorbike attempted to steal Ms Campbell’s handbag as she sat in a vehicle on rue de Moussy. According to the Post, she was advised not to talk about the incident while they are searching for her assailants. – Source
