Tori Spelling Begging For ‘Real Housewives’ Role After ‘90210’ Reboot Flop
Tori Spelling is begging producer Andy Cohen to make her a Real Housewife after Fox canceled her Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively!
“She is freaking out because the 90210 show was her moneymaker,” a source told Radar, adding that Spelling is preparing to call Cohen for a shot as a Housewife. “She thinks now is the time … Except she is delusional because she doesn’t have enough money to be a Housewife!”
Fox recently dumped the BH90210 reunion series after one short season, leaving cash-strapped Spelling, 46, with no plan B.
“Fox told the cast they were guaranteed two seasons, but in the fine print there was an out clause that included a low threshold for ratings,” the source revealed. “She’s also looking at doing more reality TV because her career is over with scripted TV.”
As Radar readers are well aware, American Express Bank sued Spelling and husband Dean McDermott, 52, in January 2016 for failing to pay her credit card bills. She was ordered to pay back $87,594.55 in October 2016. In August 2019, American Express Bank filed a Writ of Execution. The bank asked the Sheriff or Marshal of the County of Los Angeles to enforce the $88,391.25 judgment Spelling owes the bank. – Source
