Now you might have raised your eyebrows because that name rings a bell. Yes, she is a Singaporean-born American television star. Now that you already know who we are talking about, you must probably be wondering what happened to Tila Tequila.

Tila Tequila was a big name on TV, especially in the 2000s. Fans easily remember her from the reality dating show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila that showed for 2 seasons back in 2007. She is also a singer, and her versatility earned her a huge fan base across the world.

In front of the camera, her life seemed to be all rosy and a fairy tale that many would have killed to have. On a personal level, though, Tila had her demons as she went through daily struggles, but she would overcome those and push her dreams to the limits.

She says the earth is flat because skyscrapers stand straight up. According to her, if the earth was round, then buildings should have a slight tilt according to where they are. She also claimed that the deaths of Paul Walker and Elisa Lam were ritualistic murders and not accidents as alleged.

Other controversies

Tila once attacked a transgender YouTuber saying she was an abomination. The said transgender, Nikita Dragun, shared a photo of herself before and after the transition to mark the International Women’s Day. Tequila reposted the photo saying it was an abomination and proceeded to say that men who like provocative pictures won’t be spared the wrath of God.

In 2010 she posted a video on her website with blood running down her arm. She then made a bold statement that her arm had been slit by Jane, who is one of her multiple personalities. According to her then she has a multiple personality disorder. Her Twitter account was suspended in 2016 because she posted a picture of her at the National Policy Institute with two other males doing the Nazi salute.

In 2015, Tequila was thrown out of the Big Brother UK house just after one night for posting a picture of herself wearing a Nazi Uniform while standing outside the Auschwitz concentration camp.

Tila Tequila had the life anyone could ask for in the early 2000s. The MTV star was the most followed person in social media at the time, and things were looking up for her. She, however, lost herself in the way and engineered her downfall. Her TV career a thing of the past and a failed music career, she finally retreated to social media to vent her frustrations.
