Faith Hill and Kellie Pickler’s ‘Pickler & Ben’ Show Has Been Canceled

The Faith Hill-produced television show Pickler & Ben — starring hosts Kellie Pickler and Ben Aaron — has been canceled.

“We were really disappointed to have to announce that we were going to be sunsetting Pickler & Ben after season two,” Scripps’ Brian Lawlor, president of local media, said on a call about the company’s fourth-quarter results. “We loved the show. Audiences loved the show,” the Tennesseean reports.

New episodes of the second season are set to air through September.

Longterm profitability in the show’s 176 limited markets is cited as the reason for cancelation. Filmed in Nashville in front of a live studio audience, Pickler & Ben featured guest appearances by various celebrities and focused on the positive side of life, with segments highlighting local and national community do-gooders. In addition, the show offered home design, cooking and specialty DIY tips in its segments. – Source
