Alex Rodriguez texting Kelly Bensimon, has asked her out ‘more than once’

Has A-Rod set his sights on former model and “Real Housewife of New York” Kelly Bensimon following his split from Jennifer Lopez?

We hear the former Yankee slugger, 46, has been texting the 53-year-old reality star-turned-real estate broker, asking to hang out.

“They have a cute and flirty text relationship,” says an insider. “Alex has asked her out more than once although she has not gone on a date with him.”

A rep for Bensimon confirmed to Page Six that she and Rodriguez — who is an avid real estate investor — have been in contact.

“They’ve been having a fun text relationship for the last couple of months,” says Bensimon’s rep. “She thinks he is charming and a gentleman.”

Bensimon’s rep added, “They have mutual friends and she has been talking to him about real estate.” – Source
