When she couldn’t get the $1M she wanted, she at least hoped a news organization would be willing to “buy photos” which is a way for a news organization to say it didn’t pay for an interview, it just paid for use of photos.

They wouldn’t go along with that either.

So, she ends up doing a plug on a company for the product of the parent company.

Meghan Markle’s ‘GMA’ style sends a message – April 2020

For her first TV appearance since her departure from royal life, Meghan Markle wore an outfit that subtly underscored her commitment to both charity and family.

The 38-year-old spoke about the new Disney documentary “Elephant,” which she narrates, in a pre-recorded interview on “Good Morning America” Monday, clad in a crisp white Misha Nonoo shirt from her clothing line for Smart Works.

Released in September 2019 as part of a five-piece capsule collection benefiting the organization, which provides outfits and job interview training for women re-entering the workforce, the “Smart Set” shirt was originally priced at $125, but quickly sold out.

While Markle is no longer identified as a royal on Smart Works’ website, in accordance with her and Prince Harry‘s transition out of the monarchy, she remains an official patron of the charity. – Source

Meghan Markle’s clothing line for Smart Works has arrived

Meghan Markle’s much-anticipated foray into fashion design has finally arrived.

Last month, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, announced her charitable clothing line with Smart Works in the September issue of British Vogue, which she guest edited.

On Thursday, Markle revealed the first capsule collection, which will be available to purchase online for two weeks. She described it in a lengthy post on Instagram as a “five piece capsule collection that will equip the Smart Works clients with the classic wardrobe pieces to help them feel confident as they mobilise back into the work space.”

It was just last September that we launched the ‘Together’ cookbook with the women of the Hubb Kitchen in Grenfell. Today, a year later, I am excited to celebrate the launch of another initiative of women supporting women, and communities working together for the greater good. Thank you to the four brands who came together in supporting Smart Works on this special project – placing purpose over profit and community over competition. In convening several companies rather than one, we’ve demonstrated how we can work collectively to empower each other – another layer to this communal success story, that I am so proud to be a part of” – The Duchess of Sussex The collection – which features a shirt, trousers, blazer, dress and tote bag – will be on sale for two weeks starting today, with the objective of selling enough units to give Smart Works the essentials they need to help dress clients for the coming year! For every item bought during the sale of the collection, one will be donated to Smart Works, this 1:1 model allows customers to directly support the Smart Works women by playing a part in their success story – how they look and more importantly, how they feel. Meghan Markle Kept a Diary – Now Tell Me She Didn’t Plan This All Along

Another day, another reason to distrust Meghan Markle. The latest evidence? The Duchess of Sussex kept a diary about her experience with The Firm when she was living in ol’ Blighty.

Forget the new biography. This is the book that Queen Elizabeth will fear the most.

The big question is, why on Earth did Meghan keep a diary in the first place? Why did she feel the need to write down the ins and outs of royal life?

There are many reasons people keep journals, but Meghan? To her, it’s a weapon of the highest order.

Meghan Kept a Diary as Collateral

When Harry and Meghan first got together, I saw a young couple in love that was criticized for no good reason. I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when they decided to leave the royal family, the game changed.

Suddenly, they were retreating for a “quieter” life away from the press… but suspiciously landed in LA. They were “accidentally” spotted volunteering during the pandemic. They’re living on the charity of others in multi-million-dollar homes.

The life they’re striving to lead isn’t quiet. It’s deafening.

Nothing adds up. I can’t help but feel this is a calculated move to reignite Meg’s career, but was it already planned?

Meghan has already told the press she won’t talk to them. She’s alienated the ones that dare disagree with her. The only ones the couple speak to are so far up her backside that they can see what she’s had for lunch. They’re effectively censoring the media.

And now a diary? It’s a grenade without the pin. Forget about “Finding Freedom.” They won’t need it.
