Severe depression left her almost paralyzed

This foreign born almost A list celebrity/singer disappeared from the public eye after the birth of her most recent child because of severe depression which left her almost paralyzed. She spent several months in a hospital receiving treatment and still can only function in public once or twice a week and spends the rest of time at home. NOT Adele.
