The foreign born Housewife in a foreign franchise knows she isn’t going to be asked back and is the reason production shut down this past season.
She barely even got an apology because that is all what was deserved but she thinks she deserves millions in damages.
She wouldn’t last two seconds in an American franchise.
Caroline Brooks
Real Housewives of Dubai
Caroline Brooks is an Afro-Latina entrepreneur and reality television personality, best known for her role on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Dubai (RHODubai).
The daughter of two immigrant parents from Honduras, born in Newton, Massachusetts, she is a first-generation American of Honduran descent. Brooks relocated to Dubai in 2010 with her then-husband, with whom she shares a son named Adam. Following their divorce, she established herself in the real estate industry, becoming one of the first female real estate directors in the United Arab Emirates. She later expanded her ventures by founding The Glass House, a luxury salon and spa catering to diverse hair textures and skin types.
The Real Housewives of Dubai premiered in June 2022 as Bravo’s first international installment of the franchise. The show chronicled the lives of several women navigating personal and professional endeavors in Dubai. Despite its unique setting, the series faced challenges, including a two-year gap between its first and second seasons, casting changes, and declining viewership.
In November 2024, Bravo announced that RHODubai would be placed on an indefinite hiatus. Executive producer Andy Cohen described the decision as a strategic business move, citing the need to manage multiple franchises and ensure quality content.
Is RHODubai really just “on pause”?
On January 1, Caroline Brooks broke her silence and gave fans something real for once. She didn’t hold back, calling the show “toxic” and “overly orchestrated,” and even accused some of her co-stars of hiding behind curated personas instead of giving us their true selves. Translation: the drama wasn’t just on-screen—it was behind the scenes too.
And while fans speculated that the show might’ve run into legal issues filming in the UAE, Brooks set the record straight. Responding directly to a fan on social media, she clarified that every episode was vetted by lawyers and officials to comply with regional standards. So no, Dubai’s strict laws aren’t the villain here—at least not according to her.
Brooks’ relationships with fellow cast members were fraught with tension. Her friendship with Taleen Marie deteriorated during Season 2, with Brooks accusing Marie of being inauthentic and seeking fame. Marie, in turn, claimed that Brooks had changed due to the show, leading to a public falling out .
Additionally, Brooks engaged in a notable feud with Caroline Stanbury, accusing her of being financially supported by a “sugar daddy.” Stanbury denied these claims during the Season 2 reunion, leading to a heated exchange between the two .
Amidst the show’s drama, Brooks faced a personal tragedy when her niece was murdered in May 2024. She publicly shared her grief on social media, dedicating Season 2 of RHODubai to her niece’s memory .
