Britney Spears reacts to latest documentary on her troubled life as she tells fans ‘I hate to inform you but a lot of what you heard is not true!’
Britney Spears is reacting to the latest documentaries about her troubled life – The New York Times, FX, and Hulu series titled ‘Controlling Britney Spears, as well as CNN’s Toxic: Britney Spears’ Battle For Freedom.
Although she did not specify which documentary she was referring to, both were released over the weekend, and Britney said she watched one of them, and told fans that a lot of what she saw was not true.
Addressing fans in a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, she said: ‘I hate to inform you but a lot of what you heard is not true!’
One of the claims came from a former security member alleged that Britney’s father Jamie Spears had his daughter under constant surveillance during her conservatorship.
‘I watched a little bit of the last documentary,’ Britney admitted, and then appeared to sarcastically critique the program for painting her in an unflattering light.
‘I really try to disassociate myself from the drama! Number one… that’s the past !!! Number two… can the dialogue get any classier,’ she said with a series of emojis.
‘Number three … wow they used the most beautiful footage of me in the world !!! What can I say .. the EFFORT on their part,’ she added. – Source
