2016 – Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton made waves when they debuted their relationship lounging on the beaches of Mexico — just WEEKS after he Houghton made it public that he and his wife had officially split. Naturally most people assumed some shadiness was afoot with the timeline of their budding love.

But Adrienne insists that everything is on the up-and-up between her and her new gospel bae. The daytime host used her platform to let everyone know that she is no one’s homewrecker:

So, with that being said, he had actually put out a statement. He uh… He is single, number one. And I think the other thing that people were saying was that I was the cause of his divorce. Which I think any divorce is obviously a sad thing people have to go through. It takes time to get through that sort of thing. And I think no-one put that time together.
