Remarkably enough, the new memoir from this celebrity/political aide/cheated upon wife/child p.o.r.n enabler?!? doesn’t mention her own affair or her very close relationship with the drug dealer’s wife and their business arrangements.

Huma Abedin Is Releasing a Memoir

Huma Abedin, the longtime aide of Hillary Clinton and ex-wife of former representative and convicted sex offender Anthony Weiner, is releasing a book this fall. The memoir, titled Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds, comes out November 2, and will discuss “family, legacy, identity, faith, marriage, and motherhood.” According to the publisher, Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, it will also share “personal accounts” from her work and friendship with Clinton as well as “a candid and moving reckoning” of her marriage to Weiner.

Abedin’s public image has been embroiled by the scandals of those around her for much of her career, and her upcoming memoir addresses that directly. “For most of my life, I was viewed through the lens of others, a refraction of someone else’s pronoun. ‘They’ as in the parents who raised me; ‘she’ as in the woman I worked for; and ‘he’ as in the man I married,” Abedin said, per the Associated Press. “Writing this book gave me the opportunity to reflect on my own life,” she added. “I have walked both with great pride and in overwhelming shame. It is a life I am — more than anything — enormously grateful for and a story I look forward to sharing.”

During Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, Abedin, who currently serves as Clinton’s chief of staff, came under scrutiny during the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private computer server. Previously undiscovered emails between Clinton and Abedin were discovered on Weiner’s computer while the bureau was investigating his sexting scandal. No criminal charges were placed against Abedin or Clinton.

In 2019, it was rumored that Abedin was asking for upwards of $2 million for a tell-all memoir. (Scribner has not publicly released the details of her book advance.) The price tag seemed contingent on how much she was willing to divulge of her life, especially regarding her marriage with Weiner. Their relationship is something Abedin has been relatively private about, even in the 2016 documentary Weiner, which followed the former representative’s 2013 sexting scandal and failed mayoral run. The same year the documentary came out, the two announced their separation. In 2017, Weiner pleaded guilty to charges of sending sexual materials to a minor and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.
