Wells Adams says Sarah Hyland won’t buy her own engagement ring

Wells Adams isn’t pleased with rumors and gossip that his girlfriend Sarah Hyland will foot the bill for her engagement ring.

Talking candidly about his finances on his podcast, “Your Favorite Things,” Adams said the incessant chatter “grinds my gears.”

“Can I go on the record right here?” he said on Thursday. “I will pay for this ring, I promise you. It will come out of my bank account, OK?” He doesn’t like it when people automatically assume Hyland, who stars on “Modern Family,” pays for everything.

Adams, 34, grew to fame from his appearances on “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Adams’ attempt to defend himself and his finances came after his fellow iHeartRadio hosts Bobby Jones, Lunchbox and Amy Brown quipped that Hyland, 29, pays for everything. – Source
