And Jessica Mulroney believes the royal rejection may have ruined her career.

The Sun can today reveal bombshell details about why the Canadian socialite is distraught about the breakdown in the friendship following a race row.

We have learned that the 40-year-old has told associates she feels a lack of support from Meghan means she has ditched her as a BFF and left her vulnerable.

Jessica’s concerned agents have been hosting a series of meetings with power players in Hollywood over the past week discussing how to rescue her career without the Duchess of Sussex’s help.

Someone with knowledge of the discussions told us: “Jessica’s team have made it clear that she feels completely ditched by Meghan and fears she is going to cut her out of her life for good.

“She’s completely distraught and devastated because Meghan has done nothing to stand up for her publicly. Jessica is terrified she will never work again.

“Meghan has forsaken her most loyal friend just to look woke.”

Former actress Meghan, 38, met Jessica in Toronto while filming US legal drama Suits.

But she distanced herself from her after she was exposed by Canadian influencer and blogger Sasha Exeter for using her “wealth and privilege” to attempt to shut her up in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The scandal started last month when Sasha posted a “call to action” to people with large online followings to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

Sasha revealed that Jessica seemed to think this was aimed at her — even though it mentioned nobody by name — and sent her a string of offensive messages.

She also claimed Jessica spoke to sponsors and companies that worked with her, which she said was “an attempt to silence a black woman during this movement behind closed doors”.

She called her response “textbook white privilege”.

Sasha also shared screenshots that showed Jessica threatening to sue her and which saw her sacked from her roles on bridal show I Do, Redo and Good Morning America.
