Rachel Bilson poked fun at her longtime pal Rami Malek with a hilarious throwback picture on Thursday — just weeks before the actor finds out if he’ll become a part of Hollywood history at the 91st Academy Awards.

The 37-year-old actor was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The role recently earned him a Golden Globe for best actor in a drama, causing fans to speculate whether it will boost his chances of taking home an Oscar on Feb. 24.

“Thank you to Freddie Mercury for giving me the joy of a lifetime,” Malek said after accepting the Globe. “This is for you, gorgeous.”

The actress gushed about her friend’s success while sharing a snap of the pair as teenagers with their arms around one another. Malek was sporting a collared corduroy coat, spiky hair and a gold chain.- Source
