Wendy Williams still hasn’t set a date to return to season 13 of her talk show, which has been airing for months without its titular star—but according to Williams and her team, she’s finally on the mend.

The latest round of speculation on The Wendy Williams Show host was sparked by a recent Page Six report, which quoted anonymous sources saying “a lot” of the rumors about Williams are true. (Recently, unsubstantiated claims about Williams—including that she’s had to use a wheelchair and that she’s suffering from early-onset dementia—have concerned fans.) However, one of her representatives dismissed these stories as “inaccurate” and “speculation.”

A source also shared a similar update with The Sun this week: “The spark is gone,” they said. “She’s not always functioning like she used to be. She has days where she needs help eating, getting out of bed, and getting dressed.”

Williams herself dispelled these rumors when she was spotted in public in early December. In a video posted by gossip blog The Shade Room, she exited a Miami wellness center holding the arm of an aide. “Wendy is doing fabulous,” the talk-show host told the cameraman, promising “lots more Wendy stuff” down the line. – Source
