TikTok Star Bryce Hall Won’t Be Charged After L.A. Restaurant Fight Last Year: Report

Bryce Hall won’t be charged after his involvement in a fight at a Los Angeles restaurant last year.

TMZ reports that Hall, 22, was being investigated for felony battery before his case was handed down to the City Attorney’s office, which only handles misdemeanors. Rather than facing a misdemeanor charge, however, Hall will receive a verbal warning at an upcoming City Attorney hearing, according to the outlet.

The L.A. City Attorney’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The initial incident occurred on Oct. 19 and was first reported by TMZ, which posted video footage showing Hall in an altercation with an employee at the Cinco Mexican restaurant. The two were seen interlocked as they fall to the ground, banging into other tables in the outdoor dining area.

Hall was later seen laughing and walking away after the fight.

As he left the restaurant, Hall said, “My mom hits harder than that.”

In April the co-owner of the restaurant, Hernan Fernando, sued Hall for battery; assault; intentional infliction of emotional distress; and engaging in acts of violence motivated by race, national origin, citizenship, immigration status or primary language, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

Bryce Hall is finally telling his side of what happened between him and Addison Rae in Atlanta back in April. He opened up about the situation during a new episode of the Sway Life IGTV series, which boasts the caption, “Want to know what really happened with Bryce’s relationship in Atlanta? The truth will shock you.”

In the episode, Bryce explained that before he went to Atlanta to see Jake Paul fight Ben Askren, his relationship with Addison was “getting back on track” following their split in March.

“The past week before I went to Atlanta, I was talking to Addison,” he said. “We were doing aight.” He explained that Addison got to Atlanta a week early, so they were planning to hang out when Bryce got there. “We go out to eat. Me and Addison are vibing. We’re chilling.”

Then Bryce says things took a turn. “Fight day comes. I get told about the situation with her and another guy,” Bryce said. “Hits me right in the f*cking chest. I’m like shocked. And then, figured out, maybe that’s why she went to Atlanta a week early and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I feel so f*cking stupid.'”

After the rumors starting coming out about a possible connection between Addison and rapper Jack Harlow, Bryce took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the situation, posting and then deleting “downgrade” and “I’m about to explode man.”

It’s over … again! Addison Rae and Bryce Hall have split following rumors that he cheated on the TikTok star, Us Weekly confirms.

“Addison broke up with Bryce,” a source told Us. “She feels that he has a lot of growing up to do and that he brings too much drama into her life. They’re so on and off though, so don’t be surprised if they get back together at some point.”

The pair went their separate ways after Hall, 21, was accused of cheating on Rae, 20, during a trip to Las Vegas last month.

Rae seemed to confirm the breakup for herself when she spoke to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Tuesday, March 23. During the interview, she referred to Hall as her ex-boyfriend.

“So the night recording this… I was driving right before the studio, I had dropped off my ex-boyfriend, my boyfriend at the time,” she said while discussing her debut single, “Obsessed.”

On February 12, Rae sparked speculation when she wore a “Dump Him” tee made famous by Britney Spears in a series of selfies posted to her Instagram.
