Kelly Osbourne on sobriety: ‘I didn’t think I could do anything if I wasn’t drunk or high’

Kelly Osbourne is opening up about how much her life has changed since becoming sober.

During a Thursday interview on the British talk show “Lorraine,” the reality star-turned-actress/singer gave an update on her journey.

“I am (in a great place). I am almost two years sober and it’s completely changed my life,” Osbourne, who is now 34, reported. “I didn’t think I could do anything if I wasn’t drunk or high, because I was scared of everything. I let it get the better of me.”

She continued, “Now seeing that I don’t need that and my life is better … I don’t have any drama in my life.”

Osbourne also said she has learned to accept her imperfections.

“I have accepted the fact that – and I know I have said this throughout my whole life but I really understand it now – that I am not perfect and I am never going to be and I don’t want to be,” she added.

Osbourne talked about her battle with drugs and alcohol in her 2017 memoir “There Is No (Expletive) Secret,” which included stints in rehabilitation centers. – Source
