Well, they are friends which is the only reason this former A- list cable reality star with multiple shows has a job.

So, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the former reality star uses illnesses as an excuse for overdoing it on coke much like his late night talk show friend.

‘Flipping Out’: Jeff Lewis Said Andy Cohen Is a Personal Friend, Then Shades ‘Housewives’ and Kathy Griffin

Andy Cohen was asked who he considered to be a personal friend from the Bravoworld during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show. Cohen said Jeff Lewis from Flipping Out is a personal friend but then Lewis took the question to another level lumping a little snark on the Housewives and even Kathy Griffin.

Lewis, who also appeared as a guest on the nightly talk show explained what makes his and Cohen’s friendship work on a personal level. “One of the reasons why we became such good friends is because when I would hang out with you, I would never talk about work,” Lewis remarked.

“And I never wanted anything from you,” he continued. “We would just hang out and talk about life. Where if you go out with a Housewife, they want more screen time. They wanna know what’s happening next season. We never did that. If there were any issues with filming, I would go to another producer and deal with it directly. I would never bother you with that.”

Cohen admitted he and Lewis had some trouble a few years ago. “We had a little bit of a hiccup a year or two ago,” Cohen said about Lewis. “But Jeff and I are great and I would consider him a personal friend.”

Lewis and Cohen had a falling out when Lewis’s contract with Bravo expired. Lewis poked fun at the network and Cohen, which Cohen didn’t appreciate. In fact, Lewis read a text exchange he had with Cohen on his Sirius XM radio show when Cohen was angry about a doctored photo Lewis shared. – Source
