Jax Taylor Fired From Bravo’s ‘Vanderpump Rules’

The long-anticipated axe has fallen on another star of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules.” Jax Taylor — one of the show’s original cast members and its controversial breakout star — has been fired. His wife, Brittany Cartwright, also will not return.

In a post on Instagram on Friday, Taylor announced the news, thanking Bravo and the show’s production company, Evolution Media. Cartwright, who is pregnant with their first child, also posted on Instagram announcing their departure using similar language.

A spokesperson from Bravo confirmed to Variety that “Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright will not be returning to ‘Vanderpump Rules.’”

Of course, the show does not currently exist at the moment, because restaurants in Los Angeles remain closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the recent surge in cases. – Source

Exclusive: Vanderpump Rules Is Cancelled!

Tamara Tattles can now EXCLUSIVELY report that Vanderpump Rules has been permanently shelved. As I mentioned here, there was a zoom call on Tuesday to discuss the fate of the show. Tamara Tattles can now report that the cast members talent options were coming up to expiration (six months after the airing of the final episode of the reunion) and Bravo is not extending any of them out.
Essentially the entire cast was fired. They all have a one year non-compete. Vanderpump Rules is officially dead. RIP SURvers! You had a good run! Now what are you going to do?

UPDATE:
Jax was angling for a spin-off series for him and Brittany and Evolution asked Bravo and they stated they were not interested in one starring him and Brittany at this time.
LVP is still under a talent and EP deal until 2022.- Source
