Courtney Love Accuses “Creep” Trent Reznor of “Systemic Abuse” of “Girls as Young as 12”

Courtney Love has once again slammed Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), leveling particularly damning allegations of abuse against the latter musician.

In a June 13 Instagram post, Love slams Grohl and Krist Novoselic — former Nirvana bandmates of her late husband, Kurt Cobain — implying that they took advantage of her grief over Cobain’s suicide in order to get her to sign away her rights to future Nirvana earnings. She says she will now seek to undo that arrangement.

Speaking about Reznor, Love goes on to claim that “I’ve never seen so much systemic abuse of kids, girls as young as 12, by him and his crew, we all (the members of Hole) witnessed it.”

In 2012, Love accused Grohl of seducing her and Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. Both Grohl and Frances Bean denied the claim.

Meanwhile, Love has remained mum on the avalanche of allegations made against Reznor’s former protégé, Marilyn Manson. She cameoed in Manson’s video for “Tattooed in Reverse” in 2018.

Earlier this year, Love said he gave up her once-promising career in acting as the result of “a bunch of #metoos.”

Trent Reznor Denounces Marilyn Manson in New Statement

Trent Reznor has issued a new statement regarding his former friend and collaborator Marilyn Manson. The statement, shared with Pitchfork, comes days after Manson’s former partner Evan Rachel Wood alleged that the musician groomed and abused her during their relationship.

Reznor’s statement addresses an anecdote involving Reznor that Manson included in his 1998 autobiography The Long Hard Road Out of Hell. In the story, which has recently resurfaced, Manson recounts a horrific scene in which he and Reznor allegedly physically and sexually assaulted an inebriated woman in the 1990s.

Trent Reznor’s statement reads:

I have been vocal over the years about my dislike of Manson as a person and cut ties with him nearly 25 years ago. As I said at the time, the passage from Manson’s memoir is a complete fabrication. I was infuriated and offended back when it came out and remain so today. – Source
