Miranda Lambert praises husband Brendan McLoughlin as ‘most amazing travel companion’ after new RV purchase
Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin will have the open road ahead of them after the pair picked up a shiny new toy.
Lambert, 36, took to Instagram on Sunday to share the news with her followers that she and McLoughlin obtained a brand new Airstream recreational vehicle and said that despite her storied career and long touring run, she hadn’t seen much of the country and was looking forward to the excursions she and her former police officer husband have in their future.
“When people ask me questions about all the traveling I’ve done, my answer is pretty much the same every time. ‘I’ve been everywhere, but I haven’t seen much of anything,’” Lambert wrote in a lengthy caption showing a photo of the pair smiling in front of their new trailer – a 2020 Airstream Globetrotter. “I’ve been touring for 19 years and most times we just roll in, play our show, and roll to the next town. I’ve only gotten to spend some real time in a few of the places I’ve been.”
Lambert said she wanted to use the time to tap into a different creative space mentally that being holed up in her Nashville home didn’t afford her, calling the coronavirus physical distancing period a “much-needed break and time to nest.” – Source

Miranda Lambert seems totally smitten with her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin. The NYPD police officer and country singer had a whirlwind wedding late last year, and Lambert has been happy as can be ever since. Though her love for him is strong, McLoughlin’s past isn’t exactly squeaky clean — he might not be the Mr. Nice Guy everyone thought he was.
Back in 2018, Lambert was in New York City with her band, the Pistol Annies, to promote their new single and album. At the time, McLoughlin was working as a police officer outside of the Good Morning America studios, where Lambert and her band were making an appearance. Lambert’s band members caught wind of McLoughlin and got the idea to set her up with him; she was ready to date once again, and someone without such a famous name was a good change of pace for her. Clearly, things worked out.
McLoughlin allegedly cheated on his former fiancé and got another woman pregnant
Though McLoughlin and Lambert seem very happy together, and she hasn’t stopped gushing about him since she first revealed they were married, not everyone has great things to say about her new husband. His former fiancé’s mother spoke out about him and called him “garbage.” McLoughlin allegedly cheated on his fiancé and got another woman pregnant shortly before meeting Lambert. Carol Bruno told Us Weekly that her daughter, Jackie Bruno, was engaged to McLoughlin when he cheated with another woman. “[Brendan] tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him,” Bruno said of his affair. “… He was begging her to marry him before she left, even though he knew the girl was pregnant.” – Source
